Henrietta Stickland is the Author of Dinosaur Roar! and has been working in publishing for more than thirty years.
Henrietta is perhaps best-known for her many collaborations with Paul Stickland including the modern classic, Dinosaur Roar!.
As well as working with Paul on Dinosaur Roar!, she and Paul worked together on a string of other children's picture book titles including Dinosaur More! and The Christmas Bear.
Henrietta ran the children's publishing house, Ragged Bears Publishing for many years, which championed works by new authors and illustrators. Ragged Bears Publishing was founded in the early 90's, when Charles Shirley of Ragged Bears Ltd. asked his daughter, Henrietta Stickland, to set up and run a brand new publishing division, specialising in well produced, educational and entertaining children's books. In the years since then, Ragged Bears concentrated on producing books, which were both beautiful to read and firm favourites with children. Dinosaur Roar! is one of those books.
Passionate about the written word and engaging young children to want to read and engage with books, Henrietta continues to write picture books, run children's creative writing workshops and school author visits, both of which she says never fail to be a source of inspiration and much fun!
Henrietta lives in South Cadbury in Somerset.
